Saw in the Journal that Snyder is exploring a sale of the Commanders with BAML. I was wondering what kind of group would handle this sale? Anyone have experience with this type of auction process?

Maybe one of the m&a groups or TMT coverage groups. Maybe if they need debt then lev fin gets involved. This kind of process may be less of a broad sponsor led auction or strategic auction. More about knowing who are the people who could even write a check for this (generally the owners of these teams are wealthy billionaires with disposable / liquid income and time to run a football team) as opposed to corporate owners or the like. Maybe they speak to fedex or whoever else is a sponsor of the team to see if they want equity in the team to try to lower the total commitment needed from the billionaire. I have heard Robert smith of vista may be in the market for an nfl team plus the NFL seems to really want an owner of African-American descent given the makeup of their labor force and recent racial discussions the organization has been subject to
