Do HR reps still organize events for the Analysts (similar to being in a SA program) or once you get placed at your desk, all of that good stuff is over...?

There might be a few events that are more bank specific, but it is basically over. Why do you even need HR? You will have your personal outings, desk outings, possibly product group outings. If you really want the analyst outings, you will have the analyst class email list; organize the meet.

"Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, for knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind. And greed, you mark my words, will not only save Teldar Paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA."

You're not gonna be on your own. Just see what your team does or what your other 1st years are up to and everything will work out fine. HR events are usually pretty boring, so I dont think you will miss them.
