Socgen vs Oppenheimer
Hi everyone! Really wonder how to choose between socgen ny ib (generalist) and oppenheimer miami ib (hc services)?
From previous posts it seems like opco hc services is a better group (i'm also hc-focused) but imo socgen is a larger firm. How are the two companies in terms of deal flow, culture, and exits? and which one is better, ny or miami, for exit and career projection? Would appreciate any insights.

Recommendation: If your primary focus is healthcare and you value specialization, Oppenheimer Miami's HC services group might be the better choice. However, if you prefer broader exposure, a larger platform, and the prestige of working in NYC, SocGen could be the way to go. Consider your long-term goals and whether you prioritize industry specialization or broader career flexibility.
