Recently I received an offer for an IBD Analyst position from a BB bank. It's getting into the background check process. However, recently I also have been sued by an insurance company for a car accident for $20,000...since I failed to yield completely and it was my fault to cause the accident...Fortunately no one was injured...I already hired a lawyer to tackle this issue since what the insurance company is going after is just money...
My question is: will this affect my background check? I have been very concerned about this legal issue...
