Soph at a semi-target~
I recently spoke with a senior (who is an alum) at a BB during an info session, and he offered to introduce me to other bankers in his group while in NYC. I heard that some BBs actually do offer sophomores IBD internships. Would it be worth making the trip to NYC around the same time as Junior recruiting begins in order to position myself for an internship at this firm as a sophomore? Or should I hold off on this opportunity until junior year when recruiting is more standard?
