Sophomore 2020 Internship Process – advice needed

4.0 target Sophomore here (business/computer science), looking ahead to next year. This summer I have a corporate strategy internship at a F100 in my area, and I'm currently working on expanding my network to help in future endeavors–hopefully involving breaking into i-banking after college.

I understand that it's typically not possible to land a BB internship as non-diversity/LGBTQ sophomore, but I'd like to give it a shot (at the very least for some interview/hirevue practice). What types of internships should I be gunning for in order to best utilize my statistics/situation, and when would this process begin? And if there's really no point in applying to BB's, what are the best options I can go after as an alternative? Appreciate any tips.
