Sophomore IB path

I'm a freshman at a target right now and I have a boutique ib summer internship lined up. I was wondering what I should be looking/thinking about in terms of next year (sophomore year summer) if I want to ultimately get a FT offer at a BB.

That's great that you have some IB lined up. A lot of the sophomore programs cater to minorities so whether or not you're in that boat they may suit you. It's fairly difficult to get a soph internship at a BB but with the right work experience your freshman year and a helpful connection (you're at a target, use the alumni network) I've seen it happen plenty. One of my friends did his sophomore summer at GS thanks to a good reference.

In terms of what I should be looking to do at the internship (I'm having lunch with the team in a month), what should I ask in terms of tasks to make sure I have the experience necessary to spin it into a good story for sophomore summer?

How did you get the internship old-call? is it no-name?

Regards.

The difference between successful people and others is largely a habit - a controlled habit of doing every task better, faster and more efficiently.
