What’s the deal with sophomore summer internships for 2026? Seems like all the major BB programs are gone? Currently doing a boutique IB internship for freshman summer but am completely lost on how to approach 2026 summer.

Yeah I can’t lie most of the big banks are shutting down sophomore IB programs starting for this cycle/the past cycle too. I mean it kind of makes sense from a cost investment standpoint because most kids who go sophomore year to any bank will almost always recruit elsewhere junior summer so. I still think there are at least a couple banks who still run sophs tho for sure
