Sovereign Advisory (Lazard, Rothschild, others?)

I was wondering if someone could give more insight on breaking into Sovereign Advisory. From my research, it seems that Lazard and Rothschild are the main (only?) players in the field, both based out of Paris.

Does anyone know of other firms in this space? Also, what type of candidates are they looking for for Analyst positions, and what positions would be good stepping stones to get there?

I'm an American with a Bachelors from a mid-top school (e.g. Duke, Northwestern, Wash U), and currently getting my Masters at a top French Grande-Ecole. My program is in english though so I'm not sure if they require full french fluency for the work.

Thanks!

they only take paper elites. take a look on LK. first you have to have gotten your french grande école post prépa and not by pushing paper then you need some other form or relevant education Kennedy school of public policy or l'ENA. Laz paris worked on all of the sovereign rx including Greece and was on Greece's side.
