I've been doing some reading on WSO about Goldman's Special Situations Group (SSG) and its counterparts at the other BBs. Would banks in Canada (RBC, BMO, etc) have equivalent teams with a similar focus on distressed-debt and other unusual situations? Also, any other input or comments in general about special situations in Canada is welcome.
