The dark web. Or just look up the group and bank name on Google.
Factset
If you’re in college, the only market research tool you provably have access to is Bloomberg Terminal. You can use the M&A screener- search MA and hit enter, put in your criteria such as deal size, industry, etc., and then output a column for financial advisor.
CapIQ and FactSet are best for this but I’m assuming you’re in college and might not have those?
CapIQ is free for students actually
Really? Wasn’t aware of that tbh- wish I knew when I was in college
MergerLinks is good for this.
I've spotted some inconsistencies / mistakes on MergerLinks a couple of times tho
Some unis give you access to Cap IQ or Refinitv, check your library website or ask someone. You might also have access to Bloomberg terminals.
A lot of the tools other people mention work well but are costly out of pocket. I personally have a lot of success just by searching keywords such as "bank name" + "financial advisor" and also "press release". If you just want to have a deal to talk about in interviews this way is sufficent.
MergerLinks is totally free to look at banks and service provider firms.
S - Bloomberg Terminal

B - Mergersight/Mergerlinks
C - Some companies have a transactions/deals section on their website
D - Google.
anyhow has a guide on how to do this for CapIQ?
