Speculation on Mid-Level Banker Bonuses for 2021

It has been great to see comp rise across various levels over the last year - hopefully bringing in new talent and retaining those passionate about the industry for longer. For those of us that have been at this for a while, we can all appreciate how different this year is from an M&A activity perspective - requiring more sacrifices to the grind than typical. All levels (particularly analyst and associates) deserve to get PAID this year, and there has been multitudes of helpful data points on here for the "junior" banker levels.

Now that we are about to transition into Q4, I would be interested in folks' speculation about mid-level banker bonuses this year, so perhaps a quick survey. For VPs / Ds, let's do three numbers 1) Content number, 2) Happy number, 3) Best guess number. If you would like to put your level and approximate year, that would be helpful as well. Interested to take the pulse of how the market is feeling this year vs. the last few given activity levels and think this could be a decent guide.

Not sure how others feel, but this is the first year of my career where the "conversation" will truly test my fortitude for this industry.
