GS TMT, media coverage has always been great and sports practice has been on a tear lately
U giving a man false hope by saying he can lateral into GS TMT
if I want to, I could do it. But I thought they’re mostly tech bc of proximity to Silicon Valley

current understanding is MoeLA/Raine/GS TMT are top followed closely by Allen/LionTree
I was thinking Allen > GS (for my interests specially… before the GS cavalry comes for me)
Some of the bulge bracket banks have sub-groups of their broader Public Finance Group that work on stadium financings, both in the USA and Europe. For example, most NFL stadiums are owned a government entity. There are debt and equity-linked deals that financed Premier League and La Liga stadiums.
PJT and PWP have pretty great media/telecom clients too. Look at their deals.
Also curious to hear about buyside exits in this realm of sports/M&E – which shops are elite here? I’m not a clout chaser so super niche shops/“no names” are perfectly welcome
