With the pace recruiting is going, I had a question on my internship situation for the sophomore summer.
I currently have a spring internship that started from beginning of the year, and was planning on trying to find a boutique IB to do for the summer. But with the way recruiting is going, I have shifted my focus to networking and learning technicals. So I am going to extend my spring internship into the summer, which after talking to some bankers said that was completely fine.
But i just dont know how to format that or what phrasing i should use. Any suggestions on my current choice for my formatting it?

Bank Name Investment Banking Analyst Intern (Start Date - Present) City, State

My spring internship is at a PE shop, that started in Jan 2018. I do not have a summer internship, b/c I am forgoing finding a new one and have decided to extend my spring internship into the summer
So on my resume, I have my spring internship down, but am not to sure what to say on it to let the banks know that this will also be my summer internship.

Private Equity Spring & Summer Analyst should be fine, have seen others with something similar to that before
You can either go that route or just put "Private Equity Analyst Intern" and put (Start date - August 2018)
Eh, not the best idea to list an end date because they could think you fucked it up or something. Probably just listing that you're a spring & summer analyst would be good
Not sure I agree with that logic. Either way, it's not really that big of a deal.
