S&T SA to IB ECM/DCM FT - how difficult is this?
How difficult is this transition, coming from a top BB sales side of S&T? Are internal transfers hard for this? Would I have to change to a diff BB? Thanks for any input.

Thanks, what about Sales S&T at top BB to coverage IBD at top BB? Do ppl have go to a “lower” BB to make that switch?
S&T to coverage is very tough. Most people I have seen either go S&T to Capital Markets or Capital Markets to Coverage. Even that at top BBs is super hard because a ton of people go into something like ECM/DCM/LevFin with the sole goal of moving to coverage groups. If you are doing a sophomore summer in S&T then coverage is doable for junior summer but junior to FT seems hard from what I've seen and have heard (incoming capital markets at top BB for context)
