Starting later @ target school

Rising sophomore that goes to a target school but am majoring in Russian with not much math/modeling experience. I have a good GPA, but I'm not quite sure how I should be maneuvering in order to start preparing for early insight programs/internships for next year (I am an LGBTQ female) as none of my extracurriculars/jobs relate to IB. I've recently joined the IB club on campus for women, but I was wondering what should I be doing this summer/upcoming months to get prepared?

How target is your target? Joining a few clubs and networking should get you just fine if you’re at a top target - will need experience from one of the lower ones.
