Stay in Commercial Banking Coverage? Should I leave?

Currently on a rotational analyst program at a Middle Market bank within a BB (Citi/JPM/BofA).

I’ve been in Consumer & Retail coverage for 1 year, day-to-day includes writing credit memos, spreading financials and creating decks that are either DD for risk approvers or pitches for client meetings. I attend some with RMs. Besides that at least 35% of what I do is Admin or KYC.

I have provided value to the team, and the sector head said he wants to pull me from the program and start me as an associate banker now.

I would continue as is vs. leaving to do two 6 month rotations in a Corporate Finance and Underwriting Team covering different sectors.

There is likely a FSG also being launched at my bank before EoY and if I am rotating it is likely I could end up there.

What would you do? And what questions would you ask?
