This summer I will be interning at a bank that is top 10 for Investment Grade DCM. Ultimately, I would like to break into the HF space but I do understand that IG DCM does not help. In the off chance that I do not get to lateral within the firm to a better group, is it still worth it to lateral to another bank for Lev Fin even though it is ranked worse than the bank I will be at?
