Heard the other day some Stephens guy from that office ended up in Blackstone NYC. Apparently one (or more) very strong MDs in there. I'd try to find out more if I were you.
Stephens will work you to the bone. I know an analyst who jumped ship pretty quick to another firm because of the terrible lifestyle. With that comes tremendous experience and it seems like they are the more prestigious of the two firms in ATL, with better exit ops.
Stephens has a better name and deal flow, definitely worse hours. I know deal flow in Arkansas is good (unfortunately, your living in Arkansas), don't know anybody in the ATL office. Based on my own experience and the people I know working there, I would say that the STRH "name brand" isn't very strong. I rather work for a boutique that nobody has heard of, rather than a bank that everybody has heard of that is known as an average investment bank steps below a BB. Not that it is the worst bank, or that its a sweatshop, or that you can't go to PE from there -- but theres nothing special about STRH.
