Is Stifel Canada better vs Canaccord? How is the Stifel Canada culture, their knowledgeable Ops and deal flow?
Canaccord without a doubt. Have heard Stifel is pretty sweaty and lost a step after the GMP brand fell off
From the interactions I’ve had with guys at Stifel + the legend who heads it (ex-BMO M&M MD who presided over the group in its hay day, which is both good and bad), it’s an old school banker shop.
Probably works you but the culture is conservative with lots of humour in the pit.

Seems you are right acafdboardmonkey re: Stifel Canada. Just saw their 2023 fin statement release. only 3M in rev for Q4. not looking good.
Where did you see the breakdown for business line re: Stifel Canada results vs Stifel
Just checked their 10k, their revenue from Canada dropped 110m in 2021 to 40m in 2023. No wonder they can't pay bonuses
