Strange experience at movie theatre with work team?

now everyone is working from home our team decided to have a team meet up where we went for lunch and then went to the movies.

we saw this trash film called unhinged

normally when i go the theatres with some friends blazed out of our minds and the film is trash we get revenge and go berserk.

we spill our drinks all over the floor, spread the popcorn everywhere and there's always one of us with nacho and cheese.

literally turning the container upside down and then stomping on it so the nacho, cheese, and smell goes everywhere. we kick the backs of the seats in front of us, breaking through it and making sure those seats are f'd up permanently. once we get out, we go the bathrooms and f up everything there. we piss all over the sinks, shit in the trashcans, shit on the floor, piss everywhere.

at the end of the film i told my manager that "the film is so bad we should get revenge"

and he kinda laughed it off and said yeah that's a good idea so i told him what i normally do and he thought i was joking so i dropped my popcorn on the floor and kicked it around so he knows i'm not joking

he got mad as f but i told him that the film was trash and he agreed?

anyway

it was awkward as hell for the next 30 mins or so when i tried to explain that this is just what we normally do but he tried to change the topic so i spoke with someone else about it and she was like "wow that was not cool"

but they LITERALLY ALL agreed it was a trash film.. why did they get so upset?

they said we need to discuss this day tomorrow but it's a saturday but they've put some meeting in my calendar..

anyone else experienced this? it's weird
