Strongest Areas within Deutsche Bank?

So I know that Deutsche is struggling in a few front offices areas (equity trading, IB, etc). Are there any areas where Deutsche is still doing well, or even growing?

I heard they are still doing well in DCM and LevFin, for example.

LF / Sponsors / LDCM remain strong, especially when it comes to LBOs. Real estate (both coverage as well as CRE) competes with the best, they did the Hudson Yards financin. Healthcare IT and business services are our two strongest verticals (would point to the $2.7bn Waystar sellside, $5.7bn Zelis / RedCard merger & financing, among others). FIG has been good (particularly in SPACs where DB is arguably best on the street) but with the group head Celeste Guth leaving we’ll see if that remains the case. Industrials has lost a couple big names over the last year and isn’t anywhere near where they used to be. Wouldn’t say TMT is anything special.

Nick Richitt is an absolute powerhouse in healthcare IT, the guy made MD at 30 which is unheard of in IBD
