Strongest London/UK Credit Suisse product/coverage groups

What strong Credit Suisse groups/teams in the UK have been the best achievers in UK/European league tables (in comparison with CS' acquirer) and is likely to be retained post-merger?

I suspect the strength of the group will have fairly low correlation to whether the team is retained post merger or not. It really comes down to the UBS IB strategy and the areas they want to push into. MDs are really the only thing that matter to UBS for revenue generation so they will try to retain the best where possible, however these MDs are likely to also be looking at jumping ship if they can due to the uncertainty. If a traditionally strong CS London group has their key MD leave in the coming months then that area will no longer be interesting for UBS. For those below the MD level it is really impossible to say what will happen.

If you are trying to cherry pick team choices with the hope that the entire team all the way down to junior analysts will simply shift over to UBS then you are likely to be incredibly disappointed.
