Structured Finance Comp at Associate
Does anyone have any insight into comp for structured finance associates? I feel like a lot of the data is for M&A/coverage groups.
I recognize there is likely a slight discount due to the niche area, but just curious how much.
Bumping bc of the wso glitch
I know a guy that moved from NYC IB to Philly Structured Finance and didn’t take a pay cut at all. I’m not sure if that’s a standard but was at my BB.
Fascinating. I can't even think of any groups here doing structured finance aside from SIG.
NYC origination for structured finance and got 260k this year as a first year associate
How was analyst pay?
Was not on the desk as an analyst. First year at the bank
Would love to PM and discuss, even if dated!
160 base, 100 bonus all upfront cash.
Base moved to 185k this upcoming year
Thanks, really helpful data. On a high level, wheres your bank stack up in terms of league tables?
8-10 for my product. But on a growing platform
Thanks a lot
NP. Structured credit is really underrated. Currently talking to a few buyside shops and kinda turned down one and I got a quote for a departed sr. associate for 425k
.
Bumping to see if there’s any updated data
