Structuring Groups in AM

Hello,

Anyone have any info on structuring groups in Asset Management arms of BBs? It's my knowledge that they help create products to hedge different portfolio risks for institutional portfolios, but I could be slightly wrong. Seems like a good combo of structuring and pitching/sales.

Just asking because I have an opportunity for a top one of these as well as IB. I figured most traditional IB groups would definitely be more favorable, but maybe this had unique exit ops. Just wanted some feedback and didn't find any useful threads searching.Thanks.

You'll probably have to be a bit more specific to get actual feedback here.

I am permanently behind on PMs, it's not personal.
