A recent post (http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/stop-subsidizing-the-dumb-and-laz…) brought a lot of heat on the topic of student loans.
I was wondering if anyone could enlighten the community with information on actual student loan interest rates. I realize they are relatively high (especially with interest at an all time low), but just how high are they? Is there a significant difference between govt. subsidized loans and private loans? Do MBA candidates get better rates (public or private)?
Please share if you have any of this info so we can get a better idea of the issue we are dealing with.
