Stupid Me
My boss has just done with a very important presentation over the phone and I found a couple of charts did not show up in the PDF he sent to the client (he made final tweaks and created the PDF so it's definitely not my problem). After a round of appreciation about how we have done well on the presentation, etc. I indicated to my boss (here is when my stupidity kicked in) about the chart having disappeared. I can see my boss's face immediately turned red and became very upset. He did not get mad at me since he knows why but he is a perfectionist. Have you guys faced similar situation before and what would you do if you were I? The missing charts are not super important but they're pretty obvious.
Just act like it never happened (bringing it up again will only cause problems) and don't repeat the same mistake.
Never mention it again and you will be fine.
How did your boss resolve the situation?
To echo the sentiments in this thread, it never happened.
Make a joke about it to your boss every morning
