Suggestions on How to improve my cover letter for application for work experience at boutiques

ADDRESSES first

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my interest in gaining experience in the xxxxxxx department at your firm. My academic experience and career workshops I attended have convinced me to explore this career option. However, I would be happy to accept a position in any available sector and would equally appreciate an opportunity to shadow investment bankers at your firm
As visible from my CV (attached) I have the motivation to excel as an intern at your firm. At college, I took the initiative to fundraise for leukaemia for five days during the summer holiday which cost the team nothing but turned over £320. I was also a dedicated teaching assistant to children with autism for five months.
My experience as a student has made me a very confident person in communicating well with a versatile range of people without feeling overwhelmed. Out of personal interest and to further develop my communication skills, I took up Chinese (Mandarin) at university. I hope to make use of this skill with friends, clients and co-workers whenever the opportunity arises.
I am known for my integrity, polite attitude, reliability and punctuality. I strongly believe that I work well under pressure because of my calm approach and thoughtful mind-set. Although, I haven’t had much practical experience in finance, I am a fast learner and I’m capable of adapting to new challenges.

I know that the combination of my abilities, education, detail orientated focus, experience, passion for learning and contributing will make me a useful asset to your company. Moreover, I believe that an internship at would be mutually beneficial. Your company has as a superior reputation as being…………………………………………………………………………
It would be a pleasure to meet you so that I might demonstrate how my abilities fit your needs precisely. Should you have any questions you may reach me via phone (XXXXXXXXX) or email (XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX) Thank you for your time and consideration.

thanks guys

Sincerely, XXXXXXXXXXXXX
