Summer 2018 Deutsche Bank Offer Rescinded

I've seen a lot of bad information floating around here, and just wanted to provide something more concrete for those looking at DB.

I was scheduled to join their Summer Associate class in Houston this year (2018). A call was scheduled with me 2 days in advance of what ended up being the day they announced they were closing the doors in Houston. On the call they notified me I no longer had an offer, but I would be considered for full time roles if I desired to recruit for them (note- not guaranteed). They have followed through on this and offered me interview times for NY. This same treatment was provided for the entire incoming summer associate class.

For the FT associates headed to the office, they were offered spots in SF or NY. I'm not sure if a VSP was offered to them.

Hope this helps someone out there who's considering DB.

Wow, they cancelled your offer in May? Did you find something else to do for the summer or are you just waiting for FT interviews?

I think this is anyone's worst fear. What a nightmare, but thanks for the info
