Summer Analyst Program Inquiry : Transferring from the SF office to Hong Kong

Hello,

I am interviewing with a couple investment banking firms based in SF now and have been thinking about working in Hong Kong during the summer due to a personal reason. Can I ask HR people about transferring me to the Hong Kong office once I get an offer from the US office? Should I go through the interview process again from the beginning with the HK team? Thanks a lot in advance for your comment.

A little too late to start interviewing with the HK banks; most of them are halfway through the process now (currently doing or finishing up first round interviews).

You could always try asking, doesn't really hurt...
