Summer Analyst/Associate Dings

My anecdotes:
- Two heavy-hitter MD's in an EB group left mid-summer, and downsized the FT class significantly
- Summer analyst started dating a FT analyst, dinged at the final roundtable for conflict of interest (and she sucked)
- Summer associate tried to fight a summer analyst
- Summer associate sent an external email talking...unfavorably... about the group head, flagged by HR
- Summer analyst failed a modeling exercise because he hard-coded the debt schedule... LOL

Do you guys have any similar stories to share (first-hand experience or through the rumormill)? It's like you only had to get through 10 weeks... come on.

Serious question. How much alcohol are you supposed to handle to actually seem that you hold your liquor? How many shots and beers?

Eight is a solid number. Unless you work in Jefferies Healthcare which sings to the tune of 20.

Funny stories... Summer Analyst has a full on nervous breakdown trying to do a DCF model. Summer Associate gets in a screaming argument with full time associate in front of everyone. Summer Analyst uses a VPs seamless dollars without asking the ONE night the VP actually decides to stay eat at the office
