Hi guys, After doing all the summer intern applications for different IB in London and still being "under consideration" I would like to know if there is any type of "summer internship" position for other IB in Spain, since that's where I'm from.
I've never seen any post talking about intern IB positions in Spain or if there is any interesting boutique to work for in the summer, and that's why I would like to create a thread and start collecting all information I can. So if you have some info about Spain Boutiques recruiting in Summer or any other IB position for a summer intern, please, feel free to share.

Spain is not a small market so most firms with offices there should offer internships. Citi is offering an https://jobs.citi.com/job/madrid/investment-banking-summer-analyst-madr…</a">IB SA role in Madrid too.
Try all the BBs and MMs with Spanish offices first, then look for boutiques in Spain. You'll find plenty.
It may be rarer, but try LatAm offices too. Some banks have a strong presence there and offer internships to Spanish speakers.

Because I'm in my third year of university, I can't apply for off-cycles because I will be "studying" and since IB takes all your time, I would not be able to get good grades while working. Because of that, all I cant get is a Summer position for 2020.
I applied for the summer position in Madrid for Citi and UBS, and I'm "under consideration" since approx 1-2 weeks. So I decided to go for the plan B of looking for other boutiques. Nevertheless, most of them offer too off-cycles, so I'm fucked (this year).
I consider I have a really good CV, si idk why UBS etc are taking that much time to answering if I pass to the AC or not...
Which Latam firms do you reccomend?

Not sure which offer internships but there are quite a few LatAm heavy firms to look into: BR Partners, BTG Pactual, Banco Bradesco BBI, Astoria Capital Partners and Riza Capital.
EDIT: Whilst most of these are Brazilian firms, their LatAm focus means Spanish speakers are always handy.
