Summer Internship Help

I need help finding internship opps for summer 2011. I am a rising junior in computational applied math, gpa 3.733 major gpa 4.0 with a high performance computing internship and a analyst internship for a small local real estate investment firm. The only problem is I go to a division three state school who is in no way a target school. My interests are in quant finance and i-banking. Could anyone help in suggestions for where to look for a summer internship. I obviously want to strive for the top but being realistic I need some smaller boutique firms where my credentials would give me a legit shot. My uncle works for MS and gave my resume to his regional manager, but I am not betting on getting a shot for a company like MS. Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

See if there are any alumni in ibanking from your school. Contact them and set up meeting asap. Also, you could try to find a fall internship in say....pwm and go through the email lists and cold email people in the IBD and set up meetings with them. Talk to them, sound smart, and that should be a good way to break into a BB.

Otherwise, you can find alumni in boutique firms and network as well.

Networking is key here. If you are networking well, then just study your butt off for interviews and when you get them you'll be golden.
