Summer Internship late Application ! HELP !!
Help ! I am an undergraduate in Engineering, and I just realized this week end that I want to do a summer internship in Invstment Banking this summer, but I am really new at this ! So I have a few basic questions ! Please help, I have a 4.0 GPA, I understand basic finance, and I am very optmistic !
Here are my questions:
- Is it too late to apply for the 2012 summer internships ? What are the deadlines ?
- How do you choose between M&A and Sales and Trading ?
- Do you have to choose before you apply ?
- How does it work for hedge funds ?
- Can I use the same resume I used for my internship last year at ExxonMobil ?
-Do engineers usually do good in IB ? I was told we are made for the markets !
Thanks again and sorry for all these questions !

Calm down. Do a search on this forum/Google.
To answer your question: where are you looking to work? what school do you go to? what year are you in school?
Thanks ! Yes I'm in EMEA, that's why I'm panicking... Any ideas what deadlines are still in January ? Or rolling ?
Yes calm down, it's never too late ! Someone gave me this link which is pretty useful : http://www.wallstreetcv.com/usefullinks.html it's a resume website, but they are specialized in IB and have made a list of all the deadlines. It seems JP, CS, RBS, Nomura, DB applications are still open... If you hurry you might still have a chance - if your application is really good... They also have resume templates that are perfect so you can get one of these if you don't have too much time to spend on our resume.
I already have passed a few rounds myself, so I can tell you you're late !
