Summer Internship - Law student from Israel?

Hi,

im a law student from israel. Guys from Citi were at our university's campus a week ago trying to interest us in a summer internship.

1/ are there any other major firms still looking for summer interns? i checked Golman and all positions were closed.

2/ I read a lot and find lots of tips but couldnt really find someone speaking about its true value. Is the line in the resume worth the time? will it really help me find a job after getting my degree? will it help me get into an ivy league MBA?

thanx

Well, we all do. I dont think all i know reflects in this question, i wanted it to be short and to the point.

Hvae anything to say about the specific questions?

thanx

I have a little to say there is a successful company called google

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.

I'm a second-year from a non-target school and I applied to a lot of internships. Haven't heard back from any of them. I'd like to be optimistic and think it was because they're looking for juniors; but damn, it's depressing.

That's not surprising; I'm in the same boat (non-target) but the lack of success so far only encourages me to go out and network with more people.
