Summer internship London accom
Got a summer at a decent shop taking place in city of London. I'm struggling to find some accommodation for the duration of my internship.
I'm pretty serious about converting to FT and I therefore would prefer to be within 10/15 walking minutes of the office. I don't have any family / family friends in London willing to let me couch surf.
I have a few mates at Uni who are still in some mid/late processes of getting summers but most of them are located in CW or are placement years starting after my summer would be over.
I'm at an okay semi target however, we've not done that strong this year. Furthermore, anyone who does have a summer (and I've met at my Uni) is already from London.
I'd really appreciate some suggestions as to where I should look to find a place to stay this coming summer.

you can go Airbnb, you can go to student accoms, you can go to spareroom, you can buddy up with some people interning at your firm
The one student accom close by get pretty spenny and this summer analyst class is full of people from Lnd unis or js from the city. I'd like to try and save as much of my intern pay as possible. 10/15 minutes from office is standard for summer right?

IDK your situation re: finances but general advice I would give to anyone and I said it to people before on this website
Don't worry about finances or saving during the internship. Try to max chances of getting a return - and if that means spending a bit more to live closer to the office or somewhere where you won't get robbed/stabbed, then so be it.
You have your entire life to make money. Don't worry about the marginal (£2k)
