Summer Online Certifications

I was considering taking some of the free courses that the Ivy's are offering this summer since my internship was canceled. They offer certificates of completion but not college credit. Would this be something that is worth my time? Would a recruiter be impressed by this? Has anyone taken these courses, and if so what did you get out of them? Does anyone have any other recommendations on what I should be doing this summer? (I am a current freshman from a non-target with a competitive GPA)
