Swearing in the office

Just curious, how often do you hear people cursing / swearing on the desk? I'm not really personally bothered by it, but I noticed only one person does it in my near vicinity and everyone else is pretty chill. I'm just wondering if the culture has changed a bit over the past few years or if this is still pretty common in the workplace. 

I've read lots of stories here about MDs cussing analysts / interns out so I'm pretty grateful I've been able to avoid that for the most part.
