Taking first week-long vacation

First-year at a BB here - am wondering when is the suitable time for an AN1 to take their first longer vacation? So far, I only took one day off during the holidays, and we didn't have anything to do then anyways. If i'm planning to take five days off in August or so, do you think that would be okay? Don't want to piss off my team, but I feel like we all deserve some time off after grinding day in and day out.

For some context, I get along quite will with my team and they are satisfied / appreciative with the work I'm doing. My group is on the smaller side and are pretty supportive overall, though I'm a little nervous to ask about vacation. Guess I just need to toughen up and go for it.

I took 3 weeks off and went international in the summer at the end of my first analyst year. It’s fine, just let people know months in advance. I think not taking over a week off for vacation just because you’re an analyst is ridiculous, it’s just analysts that keep perpetuating that dumb standard and screwing themselves over
