Taking the SAT late

I am a junior in college with a high GPA (3.96), but I have never taken the SAT. A few people I've been talking with in S&T and IB have asked me what my SAT score was and I have to tell them I've never taken it. Is that an issue? Would it be worth while to take the SATs now just to have the score even though I'm almost done with college?
