Taking the SAT late

I am a junior in college with a high GPA (3.96), but I have never taken the SAT. A few people I've been talking with in S&T and IB have asked me what my SAT score was and I have to tell them I've never taken it. Is that an issue? Would it be worth while to take the SATs now just to have the score even though I'm almost done with college?

Military first, four years out of high school admissions don't require SAT scores just placement tests

no, that's a colossal waste of time. If you have time to study, take the GRE or GMAT. You can substitute this whenever someone asks about SATs. And of course you'll have a grad school application req in the bag.
