Looking into buying a new laptop and wondering if having a Mac instead of a Windows will end up being a pain in the ass for work related reasons.

i'd doubt if they'll allow you to use personal computer for office work, at my old firm, they wouldn't even allow downloading attachments if you are accessing your email from non-work machine...
