Talking the Talk

As I network I fear that bankers can see straight through my lack of field experience.

I wonder: if two bankers from differing firms crossed paths at a bar one evening what sort of topics would they talk about? What would be the first questions or comments?

In addition, what sort of questions would an analyst ask during his preliminary interviews if he could go back and do it again (knowing of course what he/she knew two years into the role)?

I appreciate the insights

Quick comment; if that is your real name, I highly recommend that you change your username (done by emailing WallStreetOasis.com>[email protected]). Anonymity is very important given how easy and accessible and permanent information on the Internet is.

I am permanently behind on PMs, it's not personal.
