Target --> Non-Finance Job --> BB IB VP?

I went to a target undergrad for economics and pursued one of my dreams post-graduation. Until recently, I was strongly considering doing the “Ivy  non-finance / athlete  MBA  IB” route but given recent blessings, I will likely continue with this opportunity God has provided for 10-15 years. Eventually I’m hoping to do IB but I would like to avoid the whole Analyst/Associate gig. I’m willing to do an MBA at S/W but would prefer not to. Is this transition possible?
