TD and Cowen Integration
With TD's acquisition of Cowen going into full effect in early 2023, what can we expect their integration to look like? TD's IBD will be known as TD Cowen Securities but what will this mean for the various industry and product groups for the folks currently working at each respective firm?
Anyone at Cowen or TD have any word of what things will look like/have you been briefed on anything prior to getting things in full swing? Will be interesting to see how things play out
Highly doubt it will be called td cowen securities. Cowen is going to be a tiny portion in front of the td securities entire franchise so no way they are taking on the name
Looks like OP was pretty close. According to press release "…parts of the combined business will be known as TD Cowen, a division of TD Securities…"

Nah from what I understand the cowen specific parts will be called td cowen but the whole business will still be td securities. But could be wrong
Can't imagine it will be good long-term for current Cowen bankers. No additional brand benefit, likely caps on pay, more red tape to deal with...
