Tech Boutique Investment Bank in New York vs. Corporate Banking at MM bank in Chicago

I have an offer from a boutique Tech investment bank in New York and Corporate Banking role at Middle Market bank in Chicago. Both would start following my graduation in the spring. Which should I take?

My goal is to pursue a long-term career in investment banking at a Middle-Market or BB bank but that is not going to workout right out of college. I have been forced to take a slightly different route so which do you think will set me up best for a career in banking? Is the strong Middle Market name of the bank with the Corporate Banking role enough to outweigh an IB role at a lesser known boutique?

Thank you very much.

How strong is the tech boutique? There's lesser known boutiques that are very strong in their own space like Financo, Ducera, Valence and other that are still decent places of employment but not "strong" playerse in the space.

If you want to pursue IB I think that boutique IB is generally better unless it's some shitty 4-man shop. If you think you'll get valid modeling experience at the boutique, I'd take the boutique. Being in New York vs Chicago will also help.
