Tech Unicorn or FAAANG Exit from IB

Does anyone have any idea on what total comp look like for people exiting into tech companies as an IB associate covering TMT? What is the career path? Is the pay comparable to SWE? Have multiple friends at big pre IPO tech companies as L5 level SWE coming in with total comp of ~$400k. However, they are granted RSUs upfront therefore when the company does well they really make a huge killing. Already have multiple friends at L4 level SWE having a net worth of over $1MM due to stocks.
