Technical Questions When Lateraling
Weird question maybe but do you get hit with technicals when doing lateral interviews? I’d be fine on most topics cuz of my exp. but wondering if I need to brush up on some of those deeper accounting topics?
Not usually. They’re mostly looking to see if you’d be a good fit. Chances are they already know you can do the job.

I didn’t lateral myself, but interviewed lateral hires and never felt the need to ask technicals.
