Tennis vs golf?
Hi!
I´m thinking of picking up/ learning golf or tennis, I have time to learn only one. Which could be more beneficial for me in finance, does it even matter? Which is bigger at Wall Street? I saw a BI article about the tennis players of finance and there were some heavy hitters (i.e Ackman and Schwarzman). Which one should I take? I do understand that in the end it will have to be the one I enjoy more, but for now I´m looking at this purely from this perspective.
Thanks!
good luck. you don't just "learn" either of these games
Golf is more prestigious. Always go for the prestige. Be aware though, a round of golf is only considered an official round if it is played at Augusta National during the month leading up to the Masters.
I think you are looking too much into this. Most business deals are probably done on a golf course, but who cares? If you and a prospect both like fishing or hunting (as an example), then go for that.
