I wouldn't count on it. Unless they are feeling extremely friendly, they're very often just too busy.

Maybe I have been lucky, but I almost always receive responses from the interviewers. Obviously it varies from person to person, but that has been my experience.
Its common not to receive a response. But if you do receive a response, odds are you are in a better situation than if you got no response.
