The British IB Experience
With most of these posts seemingly coming from the US and I'm assuming specific to the North American experience I thought I'd start a thread to talk about your experiences in the City of London.
How many of you work, or have worked in London? Particularly as Analysts?
Comparisons from anyone who's experienced both worlds would be great...the working hours, the culture, the difficulty in breaking into the big banks....
It's my impression that London and Europe in general is drifting further and further towards the American experiences of long long hours. Or do the Americans amongst us still see Europe as a soft touch?
